Nowadays, the best PC games can take you to places and allow you to do things you never imagined possible. That’s why, if you’re a real gamer, you should consider getting one of the best gamer screens to improve your gaming experience.
But what separates the best gamer screens from the other models you can find on the market? Well, it depends mainly on the functions and your preferences. The best gamer screens offer a wide range of technologies and features because your needs vary greatly depending on the games you like to play.
If you want to sit down and fully enjoy the world’s best games like Assasin’s Creed or Red Dead Redemption, a 4K Ultra-HD game screen with HDR might be a good option. However, if you want to compete with online unknowns on competitive games, like Overwatch for example, you’ll prefer gamer screens with a high refresh rate and low latency.
1.ASUS VG245H 24” Full HD 1080p 1ms Dual HDMI
Well, we think that it is not really necessary to introduce the brand Samsung … Laptops, TVs, computers, tablets … the Samsung brand is known to all and we certainly all have at least once had a branded device . First of all, what we can tell you on the screen Samsung C24F396 is that it is one of the best curved gamer screens, for a very reasonable price remaining around 150.
As far as we are concerned, we have passed the Samsung C24F396 curved gamer screen in its 20.6 x 54.7 x 41.8 cm version, with a screen size of 60.9 cm by 24 inches but, if you are looking to have a screen even more big, it is also available in 27 inches. Level design, we are on a beautiful black screen, with a curvature of 1800 R and with support for you to install it on any table, desk and adjust the height to enjoy an optimal gaming experience .
2.Sceptre 27″ Curved 75Hz LED Monitor
With this gamer screen, we find a very nice display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels for a ratio of 16: 9. With this screen, you can play both solo and online games, with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a response time of 4 ms. This LCD screen has an actual viewing angle of 178 ° so offers a very immersive experience. With this model, you have a power of 24 W and a frequency of 81 kHz and therefore, this screen is indeed ideal for gamers, but it also offers excellent support for designers and graphic designers. With the Samsung C24F396, you also have multiple ports, including a VGA port and an HDMI port.
Overall, after reviewing it, we found that its price was rather interesting and, if we base ourselves on the quality / price ratio, we must say that the Samsung C24F396 gamer screen has very developed functionalities and good performance for a rather mid-range price. If you really want to have the most immersive gaming experience possible, we strongly recommend you opt for a curved gamer screen (like this model), which usually offers better picture quality.
3.BenQ Zowie 24 inch Full HD Gaming Monitor
At first glance, the Asus VX248H gamer screen seems to be a rather “entry-level” model, and it is at the price level but, after reviewing it, we must still say that it has some rather interesting assets and, if you are looking for a good screen at reasonable price to enjoy all your favorite games, the Asus VX248H is one of the best screens of 200 s gamers.
We reviewed this screen in its 24 inch version (60.9 cm screen) because it is simply the largest size proposed by the brand. But if you opt for this gamer screen, you can also choose between models in 22 inches (55.8 cm) and 23 inches (58.4 cm). Unlike the Samsung model, this time, the Asus VX248H gamer screen has a very simple support, you can not adjust, turn or tilt and therefore, to really enjoy an optimal experience, it you have to be placed right in front of the screen.
4.Acer Gaming Monitor 24” XFA240 bmjdpr 1920 x 1080
Again, we are on a really good display resolution, with 1920 x 1080 pixels and you find all the controls buttons to manage your screen on the right, as well as HDMI ports, a VGA port and two mini jack ports to the rear. The Asus VX248H gamer screen has a TN panel and, unlike the Samsung screen, we found that the ASUS model lacked a few colors (for a better contrast, we would rather recommend models with IPS panel) . So unlike the Samsung model, the Asus screen may be enough to play but, if you use it for design, graphics or photography, we still think that it is not the most suitable.
On the other hand, the TN panel does not bring only disadvantages. Indeed, it allows to reduce the latency time (with only 1 ms) and to have a good refresh rate of 80 Hz (which is a little higher than the other entry-level models). So, even if the colors are not bright, this screen still offers a good gaming experience, fluid and with almost no bugs.
5.Viotek GN24CB 24-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor
So, after reviewing it, for an entry-level gamer screen, we must say that the Asus VX248H offers a very good price / quality ratio, with a very low latency and a very good refresh rate. You may not know the BenQ brand yet? This brand is specialized in the design of electronic products and offers many items such as keyboards, mice, miniaturizers, projectors, cameras, phones … It is also affiliated with more well-known brands such as Acer, Siemens or Philips.
Like the Asus gaming mouse model shown above, the BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P gamer is a rather “entry-level” model with a lot of similar features that make it a good affordable gamer. To enjoy a good gaming experience, we find that a screen of a minimum of 24 inches and already not bad. We have reviewed this model in this dimension, but if you opt for the BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P gamer screen, you can also opt for the versions in 24.5 inches and 27 inches. Well, what we already liked with this screen and, unlike the previous model, is that it has a completely adjustable support, you can tilt and turn to enjoy an optimal gaming experience.
6.Samsung LC27F398FWNXZA Samsung
DVI port, HDMI, jack … All you need is on this screen and, again, there is a nice display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. On the other hand, as for the Asus screen, the BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P model also has a TN panel, so in terms of color and contrast, we are not on the top of the top of the monitors. However, if you use your screen for design, graphics or photography, you might prefer a screen with IPS panel.
But again, what is really cool with the TN panel is that it offers a very good responsiveness, with a very short latency of 2 ms. In addition, although entry-level, this gamer screen also stands out with its 144 Hz (and it is also available in 240 Hz), and therefore, if you switched from a 60 Hz screen BenQ model ZOWIE XL2411P, you will quickly see the difference and you will enjoy a gaming experience so much more fluid that it will be difficult to return to 60 Hz.
7.Dell Gaming LED-Lit Monitor 27″ Black
And that’s not all ! This gamer screen also has color settings to manage the shadows and make them brighter (without affecting areas that are already bright) and sincerely, we really found that the rendering was very good.
So overall, after reviewing it, it must be said that the BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P gamer screen is part of the top of the entry-level models, with a very affordable price, very good performance, and especially the 144 Hz that offer an exceptional gaming experience with very little latency and almost no bugs.
8.LG 34UC79G-B 34-Inch 21:9 Curved UltraWide
And we go back again on a model of the brand BenQ but, this time, always for a rather interesting price, we increase the level and we pass on a rather high-end gamer screen, whether in terms of experience of game, features, or display resolution.
For this model, we decided to review the screen in 27 inches but, if you opt for the BenQ EL2870U, you also have the choice between versions in 28 inches and even in 32 inches. This time, no slab LCD or TN, but a WLED panel that optimizes the image quality and, careful, this gamer screen can display 1073741824 colors! Well, it’s true that energy consumption level, WLED is not the most economical (class C), but there is a good brightness of 300 cd / m² and a static contrast of 1000: 01: 00 so you will still enjoy great contrasts.
9.ViewSonic VX2452MH 24 Inch 2ms 75Hz 1080p
We admit that we did not appreciate his colleague with his 144 Hz but, so far, even if the BenQ EL2870U is only 60 Hz (which is really already not bad), we must recognize that it has a very good responsiveness and a very short response time of 1 ms. But what really makes all the difference with the BenQ EL2870U is its display resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels that still propels it to a very high level compared to other monitors of the same price.
So, after reviewing it, we recognize that we really were a fan of BenQ in 144 Hz, but the resolution of the EL2870U is still a significant difference for gamers and, if you are looking for a gamer screen that you will offer a great gaming experience, this model is a very good choice.
10.New NEWSYNC 24inch Real 144Hz 1ms Curved
Still in a very reasonable price range, after reviewing his colleague the Samsung C24F396.this time tackling the Samsung S24D330H. Again, if you are looking for a gamer screen that will offer you good performance.whether for gaming or other activities, like watching movies for example, the Samsung S24D330H is a very good choice.First, we reviewed this model in its 24-inch version but, if you opt for the Samsung S24D330H screen.you can also choose the slightly larger model in 27 inches. With this model also.we find a very correct resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (which is the standard of most screens by the way).
